Eeep, usually don't draw this sorta thing but picture request from a friend of mine and isn't too bad really. ^.^ Still think I'm being timid with the shadows though but still all in all am happy with how he came out.

I think it came out rather nice *wags tail* The light bondage and his expression comes acros real well as showing he wants some lovin' *wags tail* Also, his being tied up like that would make him easy prey for either of my girls, but I don't think he'll mind *wags tail*

It turned out cute and playful, really, I like it. Love the expression on the face. :)
Regarding the shadows, that's was one of the toughest things for me to get over when drawing. It wasn't until I did exercises such as "only draw the shadows you see and fill them in" did it start to sink in. Shadows don't really obscure detail, but can bring it out. You are doing good though. The shadows on the left knee (our left) are a good shade to start from for all shadows. Something that dark along the side of the torso and arm, for example, would be more consistent. I do love how there's a bit of purple in the shadows, or at least seems to be. Nice contrast.
One of the nicest things I noticed about this pic was the linework. You've got a good sense of "flow" going, one line leading towards another through the whole figure. As one of my teachers would say, "It's got story." :)
